She's Back

Mr. Canada Post brought in a parcel from Wannietta this morning. Rainbows in the Gorge is finished. It is beautiful. Someday I hope that I can knit as evenly as Wannietta.

Pattern: Rainbows in the Gorge (purchased on Ravelry)
Yarn: So Fond of Rainbows yarn pack from Frabjous Fibers

This flattering open cardigan is a fun romp through 20 colors of the rainbow. It’s an engaging knit, worked from side-to-side, from cuff-to-cuff, and the color changes keep it fresh from the beginning to the finish line. The cable detail at the waist and shawl collar give this design a fit that looks great on everyone.

Don't forget that there are two different So Fond of Rainbows packs.

There is a new pattern on Ravelry that uses two Party of Five kits from Sweet Georgia Yarn.

Pattern: Ailey
Mosaic style colourwork can almost feel like cheating, working stripes and slipped stitches with only one colour at a time. That beautiful simplicity paired with two Party of Five sets results in a show-stopping piece that captivates from start to finish.

Mom, dad and Lucy returned from Myrtle Beach late Monday night. Dad and Lucy came for a visit this morning. She is so tall. And so soft. She still has her puppy fur.
