Tweed from The Fibre Co.

Dash Falls (pattern purchased on Ravelry) is from a collection called Fell Garth II.
Some places call to you and you have to return again and again and some are so special that they beg you to stay and never leave.
Fell Garth II is a collection of 19 pieces shot at our homestead, Fell Garth, in the stunning Lake District of Northern England. We invite you to join us in the Cumbrian Fells for some knitting pleasure from a host of talented designers ready to inspire with designs in 5 of our yarns.

We have some new yarn on the way to us and I am very excited. I love tweed. Always have and always will. The shipment should be here by the middle of August. I'm showing this early because the patterns are on the front of the Hot Right Now list on Ravelry.

Arranmore Light from The Fibre Co.
Inspired by the breathtaking scenery of Ireland's Northern Headlands, Arranmore Light is a finer weight cousin to the popular Arranmore yarn. Arranmore Light is spun in a mill that traces its roots to the tweed industry of 19th century County Donegal. Blending cashmere and silk with fine merino wool created an authentic tweed yarn of the finest quality. With a color palette reminiscent of the wild Irish coastlands, this dk weight yarn was designed for makers appreciating the best of luxury and tradition.
• 80% merino wool, 10% silk, 10% cashmere
• 328 yds/ 100 gram skein
• 22-24 sts = 4" (10 cm) on US 5-6 needles

Badge for 2017 K-W Knitters Fair
We're busy getting ready for the Knitters' Fair as well. I'm not sure how we are going to fit everything I want to bring into the booth.

Make sure you mark the times for Lily Chin's talks at the Fair.
Our speaker will be Lily Chin, a "Master Knitter" by Vogue Knitting International, New York City. Lily has designed knitwear for magazines and companies for 25 years. She has been on national and international TV, including the David Letterman show. Lily is known as "the world's fastest crocheter", a sought after designer, instructor, and author, with her own line of yarn known as the Lily Chin Signature Collection. She has travelled world wide, teaching knit and crochet techniques, with much skill and a sense of humour. Lily has authored many books and patterns, and designed garments for top fashion designers like Vera Wang and Ralph Lauren.
Lily Chin will be giving two presentations: a Design/Inspiration presentation at 10 am in the Knitters' Lounge, and her main talk at 1:30 pm
And it gets even better. Lily will be teaching two classes on Sunday.
On Sunday September 10th, we have a very special offering of two workshops with Lily Chin. You can go to either one or both. The workshops will be held at the Marriott Courtyard Waterloo St. Jacobs
